, ESF's wireless network provides an encrypted connection from most mobile computing devices (laptop computers, hand-held devices/tablets, smart-phones) through the airwaves to the University network.

Wireless connections to the Internet are supported/available in the following locations:
The Gateway Center, Baker Labs, Moon Library, Marshall Hall, Jahn Labs, Bray Hall (fourth floor and basement/first floor rotunda only), Walters Hall, and Illick Hall (ground level main foyer and adjoining rooms and second floor lounge only).
pay close attention to the connection requirements below and the list of wireless availability above. Many of the issues reported are due to devices that do not meet the requirements and also from people trying to connect or maintain a connection from a location that does not have supported wireless. The ESF campus does not yet have universal wireless. We are working toward this goal and apologize for the inconvenience that its lack my cause.
- A laptop, or other device, with 802.11g/n/ac capability.
- Windows Vista or higher, Macintosh OS 10.7 or higher, any newer smartphone or similar device.
- A valid SU NetID (username and password).
