Periodically, CNS obtains surplus equipment that is still viable for use on the ESF campus network. If you are in possession of ESF tagged equipment that you believe could benefit from retirement, please use the form below to make a request for updated equipment. Please specify the equipment you want to trade in, its current use, and the current/intended users of the equipment. CNS will continue to exchange equipment as more becomes available, so please fill out a request form below and a CNS representative will contact you concerning our current store of viable replacement PCs.

CNS asks that only Faculty and Staff make requests for equipment at this time. If you intend to replace a complete system, be sure to list both a CPU and monitor below.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but please enter the code shown above in the box below:

NOTE: Windows XP reached the end of its supported life, world-wide, on April 8, 2014 and SUNY is no exception. If your PC/laptop is under 5 years old and it is still using the Microsoft Windows XP Operating System, you may be able to have it upgraded to Windows 7 directly and at little or no cost. If you believe you are in this category, or have no idea, please contact the CNS Help Desk to schedule an appointment to have your device looked at. This way, we can help you determine what the best course of action might be for your situation.
