All computing lab scheduling is handled through ESF's Office of the Registrar. This form serves as a point of contact for software requests only. All public computing spaces now maintain the same software across every PC.
If you teach in a classroom/computing lab during the spring semester, we ask that you make your software requests by December 1st (for classes beginning in January).
If you teach in a classroom/computing lab during the fall semester, we ask that you make your software requests by July 1st (for classes beginning in August).
Please note that requests for software that have recurring costs or licensing restriction should always be made with some indication as to where the funding required to procure the software/licensing in question is to come. At this time, shareware/free trial software titles (e.g. WinZip) are not eligible to be installed on campus PCs. Freeware titles (no cost Government/University/Foundation produced software and add-ins) are considered on a case-by-case basis. CNS does not install pre-release, or Beta, software at this time. Only final, general availability software can be requested. Specialized software (e.g. software other than Microsoft Office, Web browsers, etc.) that is not specifically requested will be removed from our software set until it is next requested. Reducing the number of unwanted/unused software titles helps greatly in the management and security of our campus PCs. We thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.
